Tottenham could soon be faced with a decision in the goalkeeper department, as fresh reports suggest a swap deal involving Guglielmo Vicario and a highly regarded target admired by Fabio Paratici.
Guglielmo Vicario’s time at Tottenham Hotspur has been far from straightforward, given his costly mistakes at times.
However, the shot stopper is a top goalkeeper on his day, and despite his occasional howlers, he remains Spurs’ number one choice.
But reports of late have claimed that the 29-year-old could be on the move, with Serie A side Inter Milan reported to be showing interest in Vicario, and there have been murmurings that the Tottenham number one is open to a return to Italy.
Tottenham and Inter Milan swap possibility involving Guglielmo Vicario and Davide Frattesi
InterLive has now shared what they know about the latest rumours linking Vicario with a move to Inter Milan.
The outlet claims that Inter could be willing to offer a swap deal to Spurs in an attempt to land Vicario, although a move is unlikely in the winter window and more realistic in the summer.
Davide Frattesi, a player Tottenham have been linked with in recent windows, is the name proposed in the swap.

The midfielder, described as a highly regarded asset, has barely been used in Serie A by Cristian Chivu, making him a sellable option in January.
Spurs stance, Vicario’s valuation and the Paratici factor
Fabio Paratici has a track record of signing players from Serie A, and it is claimed that the Spurs sporting director is a big fan of Frattesi.
It is also believed that the midfielder has an interest in the Premier League, which adds intrigue if discussions are to open further down the line.
Tottenham currently have three goalkeepers on their books in Vicario, Kinsky and Austin, although Kinsky is still some way off first-team level.
Spurs are said to possibly value Vicario at over £30m, and that is where Inter’s desire to insert a player into negotiations comes into play.
