Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer plans are in full swing right now, with Daniel Levy eager to deliver new players for Thomas Frank.

Tottenham are still trying to sign Gibbs-White, having already brought in Mohammed Kudus and Kota Takai this summer.

The North London club are now looking at other areas of the team to strengthen, including a new number six and a new central defender.

Now, one of Spurs’ latest transfer targets has recently been spotted with the club’s vice captain, James Maddison.

Conor Gallagher was recently spotted at Wimbledon with Maddison, with talk of the midfielder being linked with Tottenham Hotspur.

TBR Football exclusively revealed that Thomas Frank really likes Gallagher, who is considering a return to the Premier League.

Tottenham are long-term admirers of Gallagher, having tried to sign him before he moved to Atletico Madrid.

The 25-year-old is aware that he is unlikely to be a first-choice option under Diego Simeone next season following the arrival of Johnny Cardoso.

With the World Cup next summer, Gallagher is keen to be playing regular football, and he is assessing his options.

Tottenham and Newcastle United are among the teams in England that still like the player, who left Chelsea last summer for £34 million.

Gallagher, who’s been described as ‘amazing’, was with Maddison on July 6 in SW19 on Centre Court watching Carlos Alcaraz in action.

The 28-year-old could well have used it as a chance to get in the former Chelsea player’s ear about a move back to London.

Tottenham looking at Joao Palhinha and Douglas Luiz

Gallagher is not the only number six Spurs are assessing, Joao Palhinha and Douglas Luiz are two other players on their list.

TBR Football understands that Tottenham held talks for Palhinha last week and personal terms with the Portuguese international won’t be an issue.

Bayern Munich are open to selling him and want £30 million, however, Spurs are keen to play closer to £20 million for the 30-year-old.

Luiz is keen to join Tottenham as he seeks a move back to the Premier League, in an attempt to end his disappointing spell in Turin with Juventus.

The Brazilian has struggled to establish himself in Serie A and looks set to return to England this summer, where Everton and West Ham United are also keen.
