Tottenham could be the landing destination for Bournemouth gem Antoine Semenyo in an upcoming transfer window.

Semenyo emerged as a Tottenham target in the summer as Thomas Frank looked to add attacking depth to his newfound squad.

Links lasted until deadline day, but Semenyo didn’t join Tottenham and has continued his electric form at Bournemouth.

Spurs instead moved for Xavi Simons in a blockbuster move from RB Leipzig to link up with fellow summer addition Mohammed Kudus.

The Lilywhites could still make a swoop for Semenyo as Jamie O’Hara continues to push for a big-money deal with the Cherries.

Jamie O’Hara urges Tottenham to sign Antoine Semenyo

Tottenham fans really want Semenyo to move to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after a magic start to the Premier League campaign.

The 25-year-old has contributed to nine goals in seven games for the Cherries after netting 13 and assisting six last time around.

The Lilywhites could benefit from this sort of output, with Kudus registering the most goal involvements with five in North London.

Hope of signing the Ghana international have been aided by a £100million cash injection from ENIC in recent weeks.

Speaking live via talkSPORT on 16 October, O’Hara has urged his former club to utilise these funds to bring in Semenyo from Bournemouth.

He said: “I’d love him at Spurs. I think they should go all out for him.

“When they come out and talk about an injection of £100m into Spurs. I think Spurs is an amazing club for him, a massive football club, a brilliant stadium and amazing facilities.

Semenyo could transform Tottenham

The Lilywhites already have excellent attacking depth with the likes of Simons, Kudus, Brennan Johnson, Mathys Tel and Wilson Odobert.

These five are currently nowhere near the performance level of Semenyo based on what we’ve seen so far this campaign.

The Ghanaian has started the season with a bang and doesn’t look like slowing down anytime soon under Andoni Iraola.

His injection of raw pace and powerful finishing ability could prove to be devastating for the North London club moving forward.

Joe Lewis and ENIC need to take the chance and sign Semenyo before he becomes a true Premier League superstar.
