Tottenham fans are loving Thomas Frank as the Lilywhites seek success this campaign.

When Frank replaced Ange Postecoglou, the former had a major job on his hands to win Spurs fans over after last season’s Europa League triumph.

Though it’s early days, Tottenham have made a good start under Frank, as the head coach will be hoping his players away for international duty come back in one piece.

Tottenham’s Lucas Bergvall has been slammed for a poor performance for Sweden, as Christian Romero has also been in trouble with Argentina’s media.

However, Frank will look to continue on his good start, as new information begins to reveal truths about the head coach’s personality.

Jermain Defoe says Thomas Frank is ‘big on harmony’

Postecoglou’s personality was questioned as he often ended up in rows with the media before and after matches.

Frank, on the other hand, seems a much more reserved head coach as more about his personality has been revealed.

Speaking on The Good, The Bad & The Football, Ex-Spurs star Jermain Defoe shared his opinion on Frank when the former striker was invited to Brentford during his coaching development.

“The manager [Frank] came over, we said hello, and he invited me to the team meeting.

“He was big on harmony. I don’t think he’s one of them managers that if things don’t go right, he’ll start digging people out in front of everyone.

“He’s one of them managers who will pull people and have a one-on-one conversation, that’s why, for me, when he got the Tottenham job, I was like ‘yeah, that’s the right man for the job’.“

We’ve seen before with the likes of Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte at Spurs that players have been put on the shelf, but Frank’s appointment seems to be Daniel Levy‘s last positive decision.

Daniel Levy was right to go with Frank as Tottenham boss

Since his Tottenham arrival, Frank has rotated a lot, with some decisions coming into question.

However, the head coach’s rotation has proven to pay dividends recently with the likes of Mathys Tel performing for Tottenham, scoring in a shock start against Leeds.

Frank has chopped and changed his teams in the Premier League, Champions League, and Carabao Cup, and has had success in all competitions, with a clear harmony developing at Spurs.

Levy didn’t always make the right decisions, but it looks like he made one final good call with Frank.
