Manchester United defender Leny Yoro picked up an injury against West Ham United on Sunday, with journalist Steven Railston saying 'this really isn't good news'.
Although the Premier League means very little for the Red Devils at the moment as they battle just above the relegation zone, United are preparing for their biggest game of the season in around 10 days time. Ruben Amorim's side have reached the Europa League final and will face Tottenham Hotspur, and it's a real chance for them to salvage something from a disastrous campaign.
United's main focus domestically is trying to build some much-needed momentum and ensure none of their star players get injured. Unfortunately, that hasn't gone to play so far, with Matthijs de Ligt picking up a problem during the week.
Leny Yoro Latest Injury Blow for Man Utd
It's 'not good news'
Reporting on X during Manchester United's game against West Ham United, journalist Railston has suggested that it 'really isn't good news' for United after Yoro was substituted due to injury. With the Tottenham game just 10 days away, it could be a crucial blow for the Red Devils as they prepare for the Europa League final...
"Leny Yoro is down with an injury and it looks like Harry Maguire is coming on. This really isn't good news."
Thankfully for United, Maguire is a more than competent replacement for Yoro, but there was a chance the English defender would have started in the Europa League final alongside Yoro anyway.
In more positive news for United, Tottenham also suffered an injury blow on the same day. Dejan Kulusevski was substituted in the first half against Crystal Palace on Sunday, meaning both sides could be set to lose some key players in the days leading up to the Europa League final.
