Will Lankshear netted his second goal for loan club Oxford United on Saturday to help them take their first point of the season at home to Coventry City.
The striker fired home in the 19th minute to make it 1-1 at the Kassam Stadium, reacting sharply to find the net after Cameron Branagan’s free-kick was parried by visiting goalkeeper Carl Rushworth.
Coventry, whose opener came via Haji Wright, later regained the lead through Victor Torp but after Will had a further headed goal ruled out for offside, Branagan equalised again to ensure the match finished 2-2.
Will opened his account for the U’s a fortnight ago in a 3-2 defeat at Hull City.
