Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with multiple attackers in recent weeks, and it seems that they are keen on Antoine Semenyo.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move away from Bournemouth, and Keith Wyness believes that Tottenham will be able to secure his signature. He has been linked with other English clubs as well, but the former Everton CEO feels Spurs are the favourites.

Liverpool are interested in signing the African attacker as well.

Tottenham backed to land Antoine Semenyo

He said to Football Insider: “Well, I’ve been saying all along that he will go to Spurs, and I still believe he could be a marquee signing for Spurs. They’re going to be trying very hard to get him.

“Certainly, this £65m clause is big. It’s got to be exercised in the first two weeks of January is what we’ve been told, to give Bournemouth some time to try and fill the gap. I think he’ll move, certainly, in January. There will be a race for him as well, because he is on fire at the moment.”

It will be interesting to see if they can get the deal done in January. He is a quality player, and he has shown that in the Premier League. Semenyo has nine goal contributions in the league this season.

Semenyo deserves a big move

He deserves to play for a bigger club, and the move to Tottenham could be ideal for him. They need more quality in the attacking unit, and the 25-year-old could help them improve. He will add goals, creativity, and unpredictability to their attack.

Semenyo will look to fight for trophies and compete in Europe. Tottenham will be able to provide him with that platform. It will be interesting to see if they are willing to pay up. The player could cost around £65 million in January.

Tottenham will be hoping to win major trophies, and they need more quality on the side. Signing one of the best players in the Premier League could help them improve.
