The Premier League continues apace, with Leeds United playing host to Tottenham Hotspur in front of the TNT Sports cameras in Saturday's early kick-off.

Leeds have made a quietly impressive start to their return to the top flight, with Daniel Farke’s side sitting in 11th place ahead of the weekend after two wins, two draws and two losses from their opening six games.

Tottenham fans possibly went into the new season with mixed emotions, having won the UEFA Europa League before Ange Postecoglou was relieved of his duties.

Thomas Frank was drafted in to replace the Australian, and Spurs have also made a good start to the campaign.

Spurs started the league season with wins over Burnley and Manchester City, before a loss to Bournemouth, and they head to Elland Road fourth in the table on the back of a draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers last time out.

Frank's team fought back to earn a point in Norway with a dramatic 2-2 draw with Bodo/Glimt on Tuesday.

Tottenham have won the past four meetings between the two sides and if recent history is any guide, goals could be on the agenda on Saturday.

Ally v Fletch - Who did TNT Sports' stars tip to win?

In the latest edition of Ally v Fletch our star commentators Ally McCoist and Darren Fletcher picked who they thought would triumph.

Ally: "Leeds were very unlucky not to win last week against Bournemouth and they have a good home record. But I just fancy Tottenham. I know they were travelling in midweek, but I think they might have a little too much for Leeds. I can see Spurs winning a tight one."

Prediction: Leeds 1-2 Tottenham

Fletch: "Good game, this. I fancy Leeds to score. I've been quite impressed with how they have started the season, but I think Spurs will be too good for them. Spurs have had European football in the week, but I still think they will just edge it."

Prediction: Leeds 1-2 Tottenham

Spence on 'one of my proudest moments'

Before the game Tottenham defender Djed Spence talked to former Spurs striker Peter Crouch and touched upon making his England debut recently.

"That's probably one of the biggest things in my career and my life, one of my proudest moments," Spence said.

"To represent your country, not a lot of people get to do it. They gave me my cap and it had a number. I remember H [Harry Kane] telling me that's how many have made their England debut.

"You would have thought it's more people; my cap was 1295. If you put that into perspective, it's not a lot of people."

Gray hails Gerrard and Bellingham

Tottenham midfielder Archie Gray, meanwhile, has revealed he modelled his play-style on Liverpool great Steven Gerrard.

"When I was younger, if I was going to say a midfielder, I’d always probably say Steven Gerrard. He’s what I would want to be in a midfielder – he could do everything, no matter what it was.

"He could pass, he could tackle, he could shoot, he could do everything on a football pitch, and for a midfielder – I think I’m best when I’m doing every part of the game – I think that’s one player that I could look up to.

"He’s just a role model and, obviously, people in today’s game like Jude Bellingham, especially him as a midfielder, he’s such a good role model to young people and all players, to be fair."
