Leeds United are not guaranteed to sign Tottenham Hotspur winger Manor Solomon this summer, despite his 23 goal involvements last term.
Manor Solomon helped Leeds United to win the title and return to the Premier League, with Daniel Farke’s side in need of replacing Crysencio Summerville and Georginio Rutter.
Their output had been excellent in 2023/24, thus losing them left a huge gap in the squad. Solomon took some time to get going, but he ended the season spectacularly.
In many ways, it was a gamble. Michael Bridges deemed Solomon’s arrival a risk and rightly so, given he had been sidelined for a year after tearing his meniscus just six games into his Tottenham career.
Manor Solomon set for another chance at Tottenham after impressive Leeds loan
Solomon had a magnificent season, especially towards the run-in. However, there are no guarantees that Leeds will be able to sign Solomon on a permanent basis this summer.
The Spurs winger will have interest away from just Leeds and could move elsewhere in the market. However, both the 25-year-old and Spurs will want a resolution to his Spurs future found quickly.
In fact, Solomon has been released from the Israel squad early and there has been a further update on his immediate future via Tom Barclay of The Sun.

He reports that Leeds are keen to sign him permanently, while there are believed to be other Premier League suitors interested in the winger’s services.
However, Barclay reports that Solomon is set to be given a second chance at Spurs. He believes that they are minded to bring him back into the first-team fold during pre-season.
That is with the ambition of retaining him and utilising him next season. Given the fact they are in the Champions League, there is added pressure to have a larger squad.
Spurs’ Manor Solomon price tag could be pricing teams out
It’s possible that Solomon is now over the worst of his injury concerns and ready to play regular minutes again for Spurs, but many will be disappointed connected with Leeds.
Spurs fans have urged Daniel Levy to keep Solomon after his stunning exploits with Leeds during the 2024/25 campaign as well, and it looks like they will get their way.
It’s been reported previously that Levy wants a fee between £15 million and £20 million for Solomon to sign permanently elsewhere.
That may be why he is remaining with Spurs, given many interested parties may be unwilling to pay that for someone who has played so little prior to this year with Leeds.
