Manor Solomon has been linked with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur, and a new update has emerged which reveals how he feels about leaving the club.

The only good thing about Manor Solomon joining Tottenham Hotspur is that he was signed on a free transfer. The Israeli winger was supposed to be an exciting addition to the Tottenham first-team squad under Ange Postecoglou, but he picked up an injury at the beginning of October 2023 which had him sidelined for the season.

Solomon enjoyed a decent loan spell at Leeds United last season, as he was part of their Championship-winning side. He made 39 league appearances and collected 10 goals and 12 assists.

However, Solomon is linked with three different clubs, as Leeds, Sheffield United and Leicester City all pursue a move for the player who has not made a Spurs appearance since July last year in a pre-season friendly.

Manor Solomon wants to stay at Tottenham

Alasdair Gold has delivered an update on how Solomon feels about departing Tottenham and his desires could be contrary to many Spurs supporters.

According to Gold, Solomon is understood to want to remain at Tottenham beyond the current transfer window. However, Spurs are willing to listen to offers today before all parties make a final decision.

Solomon is under contract at Tottenham until 2028, so even if a bid is accepted to seal his exit, the player is within his power to reject a move.

Spurs have not replaced Heung-min Son

Tottenham have not signed another left winger since selling Heung-min Son to LAFC, resulting in Brennan Johnson continuing to fill in on his less preferred side of the pitch.

With Richarlison starting up front, Mathys Tel and Wilson Odobert are the only natural left-wing options Thomas Frank has at his disposal. Therefore, Solomon might fancy his chances of making something out of his Tottenham career.
