‘Massive’ – Long-term Mikey Moore prediction shared after Tottenham loan exit
Tottenham gem Mikey Moore recently completed a move to Rangers on a season-long loan.
Moore had a season to remember in North London after impressing former manager Ange Postecoglou.
The 17-year-old burst onto the scene and became a regular fixture in the first team, ending the season with a UEFA Europa League winners’ medal.
Now, as Moore gears up for another chapter, a prediction on what is to come for the teenager has been shared.

Moore to compete for left-wing spot at Tottenham
Now that Son Heung-min has confirmed his plans to leave Tottenham this summer, Thomas Frank needs a new long-term option on the left.
There are several players who will be hoping to stake a claim. Mathys Tel is comfortable in that position, while Wilson Odobert is also an option. With Mohammed Kudus gunning for the right wing, Brennan Johnson may also find himself competing for minutes on the left.
And Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – believes once Moore returns to North London, he will be looking to make the left-wing position his own.
“I know most teams in the Championship would have taken Moore, but the reality is that Rangers are a massive club,” Wenham said.
“They’ve got through their first UEFA Champions League qualifying games, and they’ve got another one to go against Viktoria Plzen. They’ll fancy themselves to win that as well.
“Then there’ll be eight Champions League games for Moore to play in. That’s a lot bigger than anything any Championship club can offer.
“I fully back Moore to do well, and I imagine he’ll have a hugely successful loan spell with Rangers and then will come back for pre-season next year, ready to battle for his spot in Tottenham’s first team.”
Odobert should start on the left wing
While this could be jumping the gun a little, Odobert has proven that he should start on the left wing for Spurs at the start of the season.
The Frenchman struggled to find his rhythm last year but has been one of the club’s best players during pre-season.
In the first ten minutes against Arsenal (31 July), Odobert showed more promise on the left wing than Johnson during the entire time the Welshman was on the pitch against Luton Town (26 July). He is fast, nimble, and always willing to take his man on, which is exactly what Frank expects from his wingers.
As such, he should be allowed to start regularly for Spurs on the left next season.
