Rangers fans are fuming with manager Danny Rohl for taking off Mikey Moore after 76 minutes, with the Tottenham star looking like their biggest threat in the Old Firm.

The Gers crashed out of the Scottish Cup in a goalless draw at Ibrox as the visitors won 4-2 on penalties in a feisty affair.

🤔 Is this a realistic Tottenham team for the Championship?

For Moore, it was yet another big experience under his belt and another impressive display, which is why fans are fuming that he was subbed off.

Both teams struggled to break the deadlock, and the 18-year-old was one of the threatening attackers on the pitch, which is great news for Tottenham Hotspur.

Rangers fans fume at Mikey Moore substitution in the Old Firm

Rangers fans are fuming at the fact that Mikey Moore was taken off so early in their defeat at home to Celtic on Sunday.

Moore has been enjoying his time at Rangers recently, having bounced back from a tricky start to life in the Scottish Premiership.

However, it was another frustrating afternoon for Rangers as, after throwing away a two-goal lead to Celtic last week, they were beaten on penalties in the cup.

Despite ending goalless, it was a thoroughly entertaining Old Firm derby between two teams who threw the kitchen sink at one another.

Moore had some very promising moments against Celtic once again, so it was not well-received when he was taken off in the 76th minute.

During the match, Rangers fans took to social media to share their frustration towards the manager for taking off the Spurs loanee.

One fan said: “Danny Rohl taking our best player off (Mikey Moore) and replacing him with Bajrami is unforgivable.”

Which Spurs player would be the best in the Championship next season?

Mikey Moore? Lucas Bergvall? Luka Vuskovic?

“From a Rangers point of view, taking Mikey Moore off completely killed the way we were playing,” claimed another fan.

A third fan added: “Why would you take Mikey Moore off for Bajrami? Danny Rohl, once again, your subs have got to be questioned cause that is criminal.”

There were yet further question marks over the manager’s call: “How on earth do you manage to take Mikey Moore off there?”

Finally, Rangers journalist Joshua Barrie said: “On for Mikey Moore, who has been his side’s brightest attacker, but you’d imagine is tiring.”
