Mohamed Kudus was one of Tottenham Hotspur’s landmark signings in the summer transfer window.

After arriving in North London for a fee of £55million, he has hit the ground running and become a key player in Thomas Frank‘s side.

The 25-year-old has started all six league games so far this season and has become a beacon of creativity in the Spurs‘ starting XI.

With Kudus thriving at his new club, he has taken his game up to another level and become one of the most influential players in Europe.

Kudus has recorded the highest amount of assists for Spurs in the Premier League this season with a total of three.

He has played the second most minutes out of all outfielders for Frank’s side, as he has become a key player in the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

The 25-year-old’s start to the season has been so good that he has matched the levels of Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappe.

Kudus became the only player alongside the Spaniard and the Frenchman to complete over 20 successful take-ons this season.

The Ghanaian has completed 24 total take-ons for Spurs, putting him way ahead of his teammates, with Lucas Bergvall completing the second most take-ons, but only doing so seven times.

Mohamed Kudus is the perfect all-rounder for Tottenham

Kudus’ attacking capabilities have been applauded this season, but his defensive output goes relatively unnoticed.

The Ghanaian has the second most tackles out of all Spurs midfielders in the league, only falling behind defensive midfielder Joao Palhinha.

Tottenham are not the finished product as of yet, and they will need players like Kudus if they want to progress.

The 25-year-old’s defensive contributions offer his teammates – particularly the full-backs – a licence to push up the field, knowing they have a player like Kudus to offer protection in the defence.
