Mohammed Kudus is top of Thomas Frank’s wishlist at Tottenham.
Kudus joined West Ham from Ajax in August 2023 and quickly settled in with the Hammers, recording 28 direct goal contributions across all competitions in his debut campaign.
He struggled to replicate that form last season following managerial changes in East London and doesn’t seem to fit Graham Potter’s system.
Nevertheless, the forward remains a dangerous and talented player who has caught Frank’s eye.
Despite interest from other Premier League clubs, Tottenham remain the favourites to sign Kudus this summer following recent developments.

West Ham reject Tottenham’s initial bid
Tottenham made their first significant move of the summer by submitting a bid worth £50million for Kudus, which West Ham duly rejected.
The Irons are holding out for a figure closer to the Ghanaian’s £85million release clause, which is due to expire on 10 July.
Negotiations between the two London clubs are set to continue, as Daniel Levy will look to accelerate the deal and fulfil his promise to support Frank this summer.
He will be keen to dispel the mounting pressure on his shoulders and will try to take advantage of Kudus reportedly being interested in joining Spurs this summer.
The Spurs chairman’s frosty relationship with West Ham could cause some issues, but there is growing expectation that a deal will be finalised shortly, with Ladbrokes officially suspending all bets on Kudus joining Tottenham after the Lilywhites submitted their opening offer (7 July).
Kudus deal can help Levy save face
Levy has suffered his fair share of criticism at Spurs over the years, especially for his approach to signing players. The 63-year-old has been accused of not showing the right ambition, favouring a good deal over a perfect fit.
While no concrete bids were made by the North Londoners, the optics of Bryan Mbeumo and Antoine Semenyo slipping through their fingers have already stained the outlook on this transfer window.
Levy can’t afford the same fate to be realised with Kudus, and not only needs to bring the 24-year-old to Tottenham to improve the squad but also to save himself from further embarrassment.
