Not many would have thought that the club’s trophy curse would eventually be broken by a manager with no prior experience in Europe’s top five leagues and a side who sit just above the relegation spots.

Harry Kane expressed his delight soon after Tottenham lifted the Europa League, while his former boss, Mauricio Pochettino is also over the moon to see his beloved Spurs win a trophy.
Mousa Dembele has now become the latest ex-Spurs man to congratulate his former side, with the Belgian midfielder maestro taking to Instagram stories to write “COYS” along with a heart emoji.
