The Newcastle United rumour mill remains in full swing, even if there is very little official news coming out of the football club at present.

More than ever, Newcastle supporters are praying for some positive news on the transfer front, having been unsettled by the speculation surrounding the futures of Bruno Guimaraes and Sandro Tonali.

Here, we take a look at the latest rumours doing the rounds:

Newcastle United could ‘accelerate’ deal for Feyenoord winger

Newcastle and Aston Villa have held talks over signing Feyenoord right winger Anis Hadj Moussa.

According to Sky Sport Switzerland, the 24-year-old is attracting strong interest from Saudi Pro League clubs Al-Qadsiah and Al-Ahli but prefers a move to the Premier League.

It’s claimed discussions with Newcastle and Villa are “well underway and could accelerate rapidly in the coming weeks”. The Dutch side value the Algerian international at around £30million.

Moussa moved to the Netherlands in 2024 and has scored 25 goals in 83 appearances.

Newcastle United rival Brentford for Bazoumana Toure

On the opposite flank and Newcastle are reportedly considering a move for Hoffenheim’s Bazoumana Toure, however Brentford currently lead the race.

Africa Foot, via Sport Witness, claim The Bees are expected to make a concrete offer for the 20-year-old this week. Hoffenheim are demanding £43million but there is optimism that a fee can be agreed at a lower price.

The Ivory Coast international plays on the left wing, a position the Magpies need to strengthen after selling Anthony Gordon to Barcelona for £69million.

Toure only moved to the Bundesliga 18 months ago but caught the eye last season with five goals and 12 assists.

Tottenham Hotspur ‘finalising’ £100m Sandro Tonali transfer

Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla claims Tottenham Hotspur are finalising a £100million deal for Sandro Tonali.

Personal terms have already been agreed between Spurs and Tonali, with the Italian in line to bank between £12million to £13million per season should a transfer be completed.

But in the last 24 hours however, there are suggestions Manchester City could join the race, despite signing former Newcastle academy graduate Elliot Anderson for £116million.
