Tottenham host Charlton Athletic in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night as Spurs bid to respond to the 3-0 opening day Premier League defeat at Brentford
Roberto De Zerbi has been left to pick the bones out of Tottenham's disastrous opening 3-0 Premier League defeat at Brentford on Saturday but thankfully, Spurs do not have to wait long to issue a response.
That's because they are in Carabao Cup action on Wednesday evening when Championship side Charlton Athletic visit the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, looking to cause their second upset in five days after defeating West Ham 2-1 at the London Stadium last weekend.
Changes are expected because De Zerbi will want to get his team in order for Saturday's home fixture against Newcastle; however, Spurs cannot take Wednesday's game lightly.
There is a strong chance Martin Dubravka could come in between the sticks in place of Antonin Kinsky, while there could also be changes in defence.

There should also be scope for Pedro Porro to receive his first minutes of the season after watching on from the stands at the Gtech while at centre-back, Kevin Danso and Ben Davies could come in for Jan Paul van Hecke and Marcos Senesi.
At left-back, Destiny Udogie should start after he came off the bench against the Bees, replacing experienced new signing Andy Robertson, who looks to have started the campaign as De Zerbi's first-choice left-back.
In midfield, Mateus Fernandes should be handed a starting berth and perhaps Lucas Bergvall will be handed the chance to make amends for his underwhelming showing in west London, operating as the No.10.
Rodrigo Bentancur should be included in the starting XI and it would not be a surprise if the Uruguayan is brought into the fold to provide some much-needed steel in the centre of the park.
If Savinho is signed in time to feature, he should start on the right. Bergvall may play as the attacking midfielder, though Luca Williams-Barnett will be pushing for a start, while Mathys Tel may keep his spot on the left.
James Maddison is doubtful due to a reported knock he picked up against the Bees.
Mohammed Kudus is pushing to return soon but it's not yet clear whether the Charlton game will come too soon for the Ghanaian, who recently returned to his homeland for personal reasons.
In attack, Dominic Solanke should lead the line in place of Richarlison but it's clear the England international will have to start contributing soon with Omar Marmoush due to arrive on an initial loan from Manchester City.
