Everton have been informed of something costly regarding Jarrad Branthwaite after interest from Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
The Toffees are very keen on keeping their star defender, who has attracted interest from throughout the Premier League after putting in brilliant performances over the last two years.
Jarrad Branthwaite could leave Everton this summer for a gargantuan transfer fee after it was revealed that both Chelsea and Tottenham are interested in him. Things look to be moving quickly over a deal as well, with Everton being contacted by Chelsea over Branthwaite before the transfer window opens.
The belief is that Everton are not interested in selling Branthwaite and are keen on tying him down to a new deal this summer to deter any interested parties.
Moyes said Everton hold the cards on Branthwaite’s future, but a new transfer report has stated that one thing that could see the 22-year-old leave Merseyside this summer.
Reports have stated that Branthwaite is happy at Everton and is not actively looking to move on from the club this summer, despite all of the interest.
Moyes wants to build a team around Branthwaite, with the defender a leading candidate to be Everton’s long-term option at centre-back.
However, according to the Liverpool Echo, an offer of Champions League football could hold an appeal for Branthwaite, but only if Everton are offered a deal they deemed to be “serious”.
