One Spurs star has swept all of Tottenham Hotspur’s Player of the Season awards after a brilliant first campaign with the North London club.

When Lucas Bergvall arrived at Spurs last summer, perhaps even he would not have expected that his first year in the Premier League would go as well as it has.

Despite the huge step up in quality, intensity and physicality from the Allsvenskan, the youngster took just a few months to get up to speed and has been Tottenham’s most consistent performer since establishing himself in the starting eleven.

The Sweden international was rewarded with a new six-year contract earlier this month, and astonishingly, he has now swept all of the club’s end-of-season awards.

Tottenham Hotspur have announced that Bergvall has secured the OSC Player of the Season, the One Hotspur Player of the Season and the One Hotspur Juniors Player of the Season.

The youngster will be over the moon with this monumental achievement in his first season at Spurs, but he will be heartbroken to miss Tottenham’s biggest game of the campaign through injury after being ruled out of the Europa League final.
