Tottenham’s Igor Tudor’s experiment has blown up in their faces, with the Croatian having a disastrous month and a half at the club after replacing Thomas Frank.

Spurs put an end to Tudor’s misery on Sunday, with the Croat walking away from the North London club after picking up just one point in his five Premier League games in charge.

The former Juventus boss certainly did not enhance his reputation during his short-lived spell at Tottenham, and he is unlikely to get an opportunity in the English top-flight anytime soon.

The Croat, who previously had an impressive record when taking over at crisis clubs, walks away with an unfortunate record.

Where does Igor Tudor spell at Tottenham rank among the briefest in Premier League history?

The Spurs managerial position has been a revolving door over recent years, but the Croat has lasted the shortest of any manager in the club’s history, having just 44 days in charge of the side.

According to Opta Joe, Tudor is just the fifth manager in the history of the Premier League to spend less than 50 days in charge of a club.

Interestingly, he is only the second quickest head coach to be sacked this season, with former Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou lasting only 39 days at Forest earlier this season.

Tudor also isn’t even the fastest Spurs sacking, after Cristian Stellini was let go just 29 days into his tenure.

Roberto De Zerbi set to beat Spurs fan favourites

Reports suggest that Roberto De Zerbi is now the firm favourite to replace Tudor at Spurs.

This comes after some sources had suggested that the Lilywhites could turn to well-loved figures who already know the club well, including Robbie Keane and Harry Redknapp.
