Tottenham Hotspur entertained Aston Villa at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the fifth minute thanks to Rodrigo Bentancur’s goal. However, Morgan Rogers equalised for the visitors with a great strike in the 37th minute. Both teams went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.
Emiliano Buendia scored the winning goal for the Villans in the 77th minute as Thomas Frank’s men crashed to a tough 2-1 loss away from home.
