Pape Matar Sarr has been linked with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
The 23-year-old is no longer a key player for Tottenham after the arrival of Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali.
Pape Matar Sarr could leave Tottenham
Tottenham have already informed the Senegal International that he is free to move on, according to Sacha Tavolieri.
It will be interesting to see whether any club is willing to come forward and offer him an exit route.
The player has now deleted all social media posts related to Tottenham after being told to leave the club.
The 23-year-old is highly rated across Europe, and he has a bright future. He could prove to be an excellent long-term acquisition in the right team. He started 13 Premier League games for Tottenham last season, and he will be hoping to join a club where he can play regularly. He has the potential to develop into a quality central midfielder with the right guidance.
Tottenham already have enough depth in that area of the park, and it makes sense for them to cash in on the player. Sitting on the bench at the North London club would also be detrimental to the young midfielder’s development. The 23-year-old should look to sort out his future quickly. He needs to play every week in order to fulfil his potential.

Sarr’s departure could help Tottenham rebuild
Meanwhile, letting the player leave will bring in the funds to improve the other areas of the squad. Tottenham have done well to improve the defence and midfield. However, they need more goals. They should look to invest in a dynamic wide player and a striker before the window closes.
