Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur will go head-to-head in the UEFA Super Cup final at the Bluenergy Stadium on Wednesday night in Udine, Italy.

Luis Enrique's side won their first-ever Champions League title last season with a 5-0 win over Inter Milan to qualify for this game, while Spurs claimed a 1-0 win over Manchester United to win the Europa League, but have since replaced Ange Postecoglou with Thomas Frank as their new manager.

Both teams have also had busy summer transfer windows, leaving the managers with some big decisions to make ahead of the game, and this is how GIVEMESPORT expect the teams to line up for the game.

PSG Team News

Despite winning the Champions League and Ligue 1 title, and reaching the Club World Cup final during the summer, PSG have made some changes to their squad - most notably in the goalkeeper department. Italy international Gianluigi Donnarumma has been displaced by new signing Lucas Chevalier as the number one stopper, while a deal has just been completed to bring in defender Ilya Zabarnyi from Bournemouth too.

Willian Pacho and Lucas Hernandez will both be available after missing the Club World Cup final due to suspension, but Portugal international Joao Neves will be missing after his own red card against Chelsea. Donnarumma also hasn't travelled with the squad to Italy, showing he is not part of their plans.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Luis Enrique shared an update on his squad ahead of the game.

"Lucas Chevalier and Renato Marin, too [were brought in]. They're always difficult decisions to make, I know. I can only say good things about Gigio Donnarumma: he's one of the best players in his position, without a doubt, and he's even better as a person, but we were looking for a different type of goalkeeper. And I repeat, it's always difficult to make a decision like that."

PSG Predicted XI

PSG Predicted XI: Chevalier; Hakimi, Marquinhos, Pacho, Mendes; Vitinha, Ruiz, Zaire-Emery; Doue, Dembele, Kvaratskhelia.

PSG Predicted Substitutes: Martin (GK), Safonov (GK), L. Hernandez (DEF), Beraldo (DEF), Kamara (DEF), Mbaye (MID), Lee Kang-In (MID), Barcola (FWD), Ramos (FWD).

Despite the changes to the squad, the team is unlikely to look too different to the Champions League final. Young midfielder Warren Zaire-Emery should get the nod to replace Neves, while £420,000-a-week trio Lucas Hernandez, Bradley Barcola and Goncalo Ramos are likely to be on the bench.

Tottenham Team News

Since arriving in north London, Frank has overseen some big changes in the Spurs dressing room with captain Heung-Min Son departing for LAFC, while winger Mohammed Kudus and midfielder Joao Palhinha have arrived to strengthen the squad.

But the Dane will be without attacking midfielder James Maddison, who will miss the majority of the 2025/26 season after rupturing his ACL during pre-season. Radu Dragusin and Dejan Kulusevski continue to recover from long-term injuries, while Frank is hopeful striker Dominic Solanke is fit enough to play after missing the majority of the summer. Destiny Udogie is also likely to miss out at left-back, and is a doubt for the opening Premier League fixture with Burnley too.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Luis Enrique shared an update on his squad ahead of the game.

"The players [that are] longer-term are just part of the group. Dom [Solanke] is the positive one, he’s available for selection tomorrow. Destiny [Udogie] is closer, and getting closer to training with the group. Bissouma has not travelled with the group for disciplinary reasons.

“He [Bissouma] has been late several times and now this time was just one too many. I think with everything you need to give your players a lot of love but there has to be demands and consequences. This time there was a consequence.

"For me there’s been a consequence for this trip and there will be a follow up when I come home. I will park it for now.
