Pedro Porro has angered Tottenham supporters in the wake of their 2-1 defeat to Fulham with his behaviour after the final whistle went. The Spaniard appeared to be furious with teammate Lucas Bergvall, shouting at him once the game had concluded.

Everything went wrong for Spurs within the opening six minutes of the game. Kenny Tete's deflected strike gave the visitors the lead inside four minutes, before Harry Wilson capitalised on a calamitous mistake from goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario just 120 seconds later.

Thomas Frank's side got one back in the second half through Mohammed Kudus, but could not find an equaliser before referee Stuart Attwell ended the tie. The result was Spurs' fourth Premier League defeat in six games, which leaves them 10th in the table.

Porro Shouts at Teammate Bergvall After Tottenham 1-2 Fulham

Home supporters booed the team after the final whistle, but that anger had spread to some of the players too. Footage from inside the stadium appeared to show Porro shouting at Bergvall, who was making his way round the ground to applaud the attending fans.

The full-back was seemingly ready to walk off the pitch and down the tunnel. But his teammate believed that the players should show their appreciation to those who were still in attendance. The Spaniard hovered around the centre-circle, shouting Bergvall's name, before he started to walk towards the Sweden international, only to be gently pushed back by Pape Matar Sarr.

Porro didn't clap the fans as he then trudged off the turf, heading straight down the tunnel. It comes just weeks after Micky Van de Ven and Djed Spence snubbed manager Thomas Frank and stormed down the tunnel after their loss against Chelsea.

The Tottenham boss, who had already criticised a select few supporters for booing goalkeeper Vicario after his mistake against Fulham, was then asked about the incident between Bergvall and Porro after the game ended. The Danish head coach said that he did not see the latter's reaction, but went on to say that his squad needed to be calm in the face of adversity.

"We are in a tough spell right now and for my players it is about being as calm as possible and doing everything we can to work through it."

Fans Slam Porro for Bergvall Clash

Frank might not have spotted the incident, but it has since gone viral on social media, with plenty of Spurs supporters reacting to the footage. Unsurprisingly, many have come out in support of Bergvall, with one condemning Porro of "bullying" his teammate.

"He’s always bullying Bergvall."

A fellow fan shared similar thoughts, writing: "If this is true this is actually unacceptable." Meanwhile, another believes that the club are better off without Porro. They said: "If true, sell him. He’s overrated anyway & thinks he’s elite when he’s bang average. Can’t defend & can’t cross or assist. If true, clearly has an attitude problem."

Others, however, believe that it's more evidence that Frank has lost the dressing room, especially with the incident occurring so shortly after Van de Ven and Spence's reactions. One wrote: "Frank is making the dressing room implode on each other, nice." And that was echoed by a final supporter, who said: "Gosh that dressing room is TENSE."

Newcastle Trip Next for Spurs

Things do not get any easier for Tottenham and Frank either, with midweek Premier League fixtures returning as clubs head into a busy Christmas period during December. They have just a three-day break before returning to action, as they head up to St James' Park for a match against Newcastle.

Eddie Howe's side are flying high after a resounding 4-1 win on the road against Everton. They are currently level with Spurs on 18 points, with Tuesday's match a big opportunity to leapfrog them into the top half of the table.
