Pedro Porro has taken to social media to send a message to those who have questioned his defending after helping Tottenham keep a clean sheet in the Europa League final.
The Spaniard has shown over the course of his two-and-a-half seasons at Tottenham Hotspur that he is among the best in the world in his position when it comes to attacking output.
The right-back has 13 goal contributions to his name this season, which include two crucial strikes in Tottenham’s Europa League quarterfinal and semifinals against Eintracht Frankfurt and Bodo/Glimt respectively.
Porro has come under plenty of criticism for his defending, and ahead of the final, the Tottenham right-back admitted that he uses the criticism as fuel to get the best out of himself.

The 24-year-old’s displays in the latter stages of the Europa League were a clear message to those questioning his defensive prowess.
Porro was part of a Tottenham backline which kept clean sheets away at Frankfurt, Bodo/Glimt, and on the night of the final, with the former Sporting Lisbon man being extremely disciplined and showing great concentration through the 90 minutes in Bilbao.

Ahead of the final, Porro admitted that Rubem Amorim was a key reason why his career took off, and the right-back warned his teammates that the Portuguese coach may have something up his sleeve at Bilbao.
The pair had won several trophies together at Sporting Lisbon before the right-back made the switch to North London.
