Tottenham Hotspur have agreed to incoming boss Thomas Frank's demands as he prepares to take the throne from Ange Postecoglou later this week - with the Dane set to have a say in the club's recruitment process to stamp his mark on the club in the coming years.

Frank, who has been at Brentford for seven years, has reportedly agreed personal terms with Tottenham, leaving the Bees in a fine position in mid-table in the league and accepting a role that will see him take charge of Champions League football next season after they won the Europa League last month.

Report: Thomas Frank Demanded Recruitment Say in Tottenham Transfers

The Dane had a similar role at Brentford, leading to their success

The report by TBR Football states that Levy played a crucial role in the arrival of Frank to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as talks with the Spurs owner convinced him to make the switch from west to north London. However, after agreeing personal terms, the report further states that Frank wanted guarantees as to how the club would operate on a recruitment level whilst he was in charge.

The Brentford hero won't have the final say on every deal, but he will be a part of the process in terms of signing players - and Tottenham have agreed to that demand, having held a similar role in his time at the Gtech Community Stadium in the Premier League.

Frank informed Brentford that he wanted to leave over the weekend, which is why talks have accelerated this week - and now he looks set to take the throne at the Europa League champions, replacing Postecoglou. Brentford hoped to tie him down to a new deal, but talks with Levy two weeks ago swayed his decision and now Brentford will be on the lookout for a new gaffer.

Frank went from Championship mid-table with Brentford, before winning the play-offs in the 2020/21 campaign after suffering heartbreak at Wembley the year prior against local rivals Fulham - and his pragmatic yet adaptable approach to the Premier League has seen the Bees become an established side in the top-flight.

GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Thomas Frank has won 236 of his 526 games in football management.

Recording two top-half finishes and being a feared outfit at their fortress ground in the capital, Frank nurtured the likes of Bryan Mbeumo and Ivan Toney among others in that time.
