The report by TBR Football states that Levy played a crucial role in the arrival of Frank to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, as talks with the Spurs owner convinced him to make the switch from west to north London. However, after agreeing personal terms, the report further states that Frank wanted guarantees as to how the club would operate on a recruitment level whilst he was in charge.
The Brentford hero won't have the final say on every deal, but he will be a part of the process in terms of signing players - and Tottenham have agreed to that demand, having held a similar role in his time at the Gtech Community Stadium in the Premier League.
Frank informed Brentford that he wanted to leave over the weekend, which is why talks have accelerated this week - and now he looks set to take the throne at the Europa League champions, replacing Postecoglou.
