Tottenham Hotspur fans witnessed another Richarlison start on Wednesday evening and a clear message to Everton ahead of the transfer market.

David Moyes needs something new in the January transfer window with a lack of goals coming from his two strikers.

It has been the same old story of recent years for Everton as they fail to find the back of the net on a regular basis.

Everton News understands that Everton will be eyeing a striker in January to push on from the struggles of Beto and Thierno Barry.

Richarlison is a player who has a strong connection with the Toffees and that was seen at the weekend.

Following his latest display for the north London side, a number of Spurs fans have made something very clear about their 28-year-old striker.

Tottenham fans want Everton to sign Richarlison

It is Everton News’ understanding that Richarlison would approve a return to Everton next year, if the Blues make their move.

Under Thomas Frank, Richarlison has seen game time become somewhat hit and miss in recent weeks.

MORE EVERTON STORIES

However, he was started on Wednesday evening against Newcastle United and he certainly did not impress the Spurs fans.

After the loss on Tyneside, one Spurs fan said: ‘Send him back to Everton’. Whilst another added: ‘The sooner Richarlison goes back to Everton the better’.

It was not a good showing from the striker, with Frank admitting Richarlison was a yard short every time the crosses came in.

With Spurs also looking for a new striker, one fan said: ‘Ivan Toney in January, Paratici. Make. It. Happen. Sell Richarlison back to Everton.’ Another Tottenham fan also claimed: ‘Everton saw us coming.’

Clearly, Spurs fans want to see the Brazilian return to Merseyside, another said: ‘I beg Everton come and get Richarlison off Tottenham. Take him’. And it was also said: ‘Can’t wait for Richarlison to return to Everton in January’.

Richarlison does not look happy at Tottenham

After a recent showing in the Champions League, Alan Brazil thought Richarlison looked miserable after being taken off.

The move to Spurs has not really worked out for the Brazilian.

Of course, he got his hands on European silverware earlier this year, but his injury issues have really held him back from building on his spot in the starting XI.

Richarlison has fuelled the Everton transfer speculation through some of his social media activity since the game at the weekend.

If Everton were to bring him back, then there would be a lot of expectation on him to really hit the ground running.

If he was to join in January then he would have a spot in the World Cup squad to play for.
