Rio Kyerematen could be handed his senior debut at Tottenham Hotspur sooner rather than later.

Tottenham supporters will have rejoiced after Arsenal moved one step closer to the Premier League title, which is a sentence that almost no Spurs fan will have ever expected to read.

But with West Ham on the receiving end of a defeat, it means that Tottenham’s chances of surviving in the Premier League have received a major boost.

Spurs face Leeds on Monday night, knowing that a win would take them four points above the bottom three, with just two games to go.

However, Tottenham have a few injury concerns of their own heading into the clash, one of which could afford Kyerematen a chance to stake a claim.

Conor Gallagher fears emerge at Tottenham

Since Roberto De Zerbi arrived in North London, Conor Gallagher has improved significantly.

However, his chances of continuing that form are looking bleak, with Gallagher seen wearing strapping around his left knee ahead of Monday night’s game.

It may be precautionary, but it certainly suggests that the midfielder is far from being 100 per cent fit, which will be a concern given the lack of options if he were to miss the game.

However, it could also afford the chance for Kyerematen to make an appearance, given his performances in the Premier League 2 this season.

The 20-year-old has eight goals and five assists for Tottenham’s Under-21s this season, and is certainly more than deserving of a chance to prove his worth.

Who else could get Tottenham chance in light of Gallagher concern?

Gallagher has at times been utilised as a 10 under De Zerbi, and if so, it could also open the door for Reiss-Alexander Russell-Denny to make an appearance.

The teen is another who has shone in the Premier League 2 this season, but has not been afforded a chance to make his senior debut.

Russell-Denny has managed four goals and four assists in 20 starts in the league this season, and will also no doubt be looking to break through under De Zerbi.
