It has been a month of outgoings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as the club prepare for a big 2026/27 season.
So busy in the transfer market in June and early July, things have slowed down on incomings in N17 over the past month with players instead heading out of the door.
Alejo Veliz, Alfie Devine, Luka Vuskovic, Tynan Thompson and Will Lankshear have all departed Tottenham on a permanent basis, with a host of players, including talented youngster Mason Melia, exiting on loan.
Another loan deal looks set to be finalised very soon and it is a move that could really benefit Roberto De Zerbi and Tottenham in the years ahead.
Moore loan move
Mikey Moore is set to depart Tottenham on loan for the second consecutive season as he closes in on a move to German side FC Koln.
Breaking into the Spurs team during Ange Postecoglou's tenure, the talented winger was given the green light to depart on loan 12 months ago to aid his development.
Moore headed to Glasgow and linked up with Scottish giants Rangers on a season-long deal in what was an eye-catching first loan for the Spurs starlet.
It proved to be a very beneficial move for the player as he recovered from a tricky start under Russell Martin to go on and flourish under Danny Rohl following a change in management.
In total, Moore contributed seven goals and four assists in 50 games for the Gers.
Amid rumours of a return to Ibrox for the new campaign, the winger will instead be plying his trade in the Bundesliga with Koln after Tottenham struck an agreement with the German side.
Speaking on his YouTube channel on Wednesday, Fabrizio Romano issued a transfer update and gave an insight into Moore's Koln switch.
"Mikey Moore, the talent from Tottenham, is one step away from joining Koln on loan deal from Tottenham Hotspur," said the transfer expert. "Just waiting for a final approval to travel for medical test and contract signing.
"It's going to be a straight loan, not a deal with any buy option clause or buy obligation, so these are the conditions of the deal for Mickey Moore."
An important loan deal
Moore's loan move to Koln could be a very important step in his development when it comes to his Tottenham career.
His time at Rangers was extremely beneficial to him and his new opportunity in Germany will only help his game advance to new levels as he experiences football in a new league and new country.
Moore will be the third English addition at Koln this summer after youngsters Reigan Heskey and Jahmai Simpson-Pusey joined on permanent deals from Manchester City.
Regular game time is going to be imperative when it comes to Moore taking his game on even further and potentially becoming a Tottenham starter in the future.
Spurs have yet to find a long-term replacement for Son Heung-min on the left flank and a strong season for Moore in Germany could potentially give De Zerbi food for thought this time next year.
