Tottenham Hotspur are in talks to sign Manchester City winger Savinho, with Fabrizio Romano naming two of the club's attacking targets in a new update.
Tottenham have gone transfer crazy this summer and it is no surprise given how poor they have been in the last two seasons in the Premier League, finishing 17th twice.
Spurs' defence has been transformed with the additions of Marcos Senesi, Andy Robertson and Jan Paul van Hecke, with Martin Dubravka arriving to provide extra depth in the goalkeeping position.
Departures are now likely with Brighton and Hove Albion already agreeing a deal to sign Luka Vuskovic, while captain Cristian Romero is expected to leave having long been linked with a switch away from the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tottenham's midfield is also looking overloaded following the stunning double addition of Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes, although it has been confirmed that the club won't be signing Joao Palhinha on a permanent basis, even though De Zerbi hinted heavily at a deal at the end of the season.
Club chiefs will now be focusing on strengthening the attack, as Spurs look to make a big splash in the Premier League next season.
Romano: Tottenham Targeting Two Attackers Amid Savinho Talks
It appears as though Tottenham's top priority is to bring in a new left-winger, although they could also sign a striker should either Richarlison or Dominic Solanke leave the club before the September 1 deadline.
Romano has issued a new update on the situation on his YouTube channel, confirming that the club remain in talks to sign the 'unstoppable' Savinho from Manchester City, 12 months after they made their first attempt to bring him to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, while there is also interest in Liverpool's Cody Gakpo.
The Italian journalist said: "Tottenham remained very interested in Savinho. It's a name I told you a long time ago, months ago, and Tottenham keep working on the Savinho deal, but they are waiting for Manchester City to take a decision on whether they want to let him go or not, which conditions, but the conversations have started.
"The conversation is ongoing, and we have to wait and see the timing, but Savinho is the next big name on Tottenham's list, and I would also include Cody Gakpo among the players they like for the winger position after reshaping the midfield with Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes, so keep an eye on Savinho."
Tottenham Prepare £85m Bid to Sign New Forward
Tottenham's top target if they are to sign a new striker appears to be Bournemouth star Eli Junior Kroupi, following an outstanding breakthrough campaign for the Cherries.
The 20-year-old scored 13 goals in 33 Premier League appearances to catch the eye of the biggest clubs in Europe, as he helped the south coast side qualify for Europe for the first time in their history.
