Tottenham and Al Hilal are in a two-way battle to sign Pedro Neto if he leaves Chelsea this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The winger only joined Chelsea from Wolves in a £54m deal in August 2024 but he has been linked with a transfer away from Stamford Bridge.

Tottenham are lacking in attacking options at present and are looking to strengthen Roberto De Zerbi's squad for the new season after back-to-back 17th place finishes.

Amid the north London club's interest in the Portugal international, their priority first and foremost when it comes to bringing in a winger is a deal for Manchester City star Savinho.

Savinho may be involved in a double deal between Spurs and City as Omar Marmoush could also be heading to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as they are currently working on a deal for the duo.

When it comes to Neto, any interested club will have to shell out big money for the attacker as Chelsea value him at £100m.

Speaking on GIVEMESPORT's Market Madness podcast, transfer expert Romano provided the latest news on Neto's Chelsea future and also mentioned that Manchester City had looked at the player but decided against him as they were put off by his high fee.

I think it's between Spurs and Al Hilal in this moment for Pedro Neto. Pedro Neto is on Spurs' list, but again the priority is Savinho.

"Then Al Hilal is also a possibility. Al Hilal made contact with his agent. Al Hilal are interested in the player. So these two names are going to keep us busy in the next days, Pedro Neto and Savinho.

"Manchester City also spoke to the agent a few weeks ago. They were interested because if Savinho goes to Tottenham, it was a possibility to consider Pedro Neto as an alternative. But Man City believed that the valuation made by Chelsea is way too high.

"Chelsea points at £100m. I think at the end it's going to be less than this, but still too much for Manchester City. And so I think it's between Al Hilal and Tottenham."

Tottenham's dream attack

Tottenham made such a quick start to the summer transfer window with six new additions but things have slowed down of late.

Attack is very much a priority in what remains of the transfer window as the club look to hand De Zerbi a new-look attack which can shoot them to success.

A double deal for Savinho and Marmoush would instantly give them an attacking upgrade and potentially transform a team that struggled for goals last season.

Marmoush would lead the line ahead of Dominic Solanke and Richarlison in Spurs' new-look attack, with Savinho operating from the left flank.

On the right, Mohammed Kudus, who missed the second half of last season through injury, could flourish under De Zerbi and it may be he who joins Savinho and Marmoush in completing the front three.
