The Carabao Cup fourth-round draw has thrown up some intriguing ties, including holders Newcastle v Tottenham Hotspur at St James' Park, and a mouth-watering all-Welsh tie between Wrexham and Cardiff. Meanwhile, Arsenal will host fellow Premier League side Brighton, Liverpool play Crystal Palace, and Chelsea travel to Wolves. The fixtures are to be played week commencing October 27.

Carabao Cup holders Newcastle will host Tottenham Hotspur in the fourth round, while Wrexham have been drawn with fellow Welsh side Cardiff.

Newcastle advanced with a 4-1 win over League One leaders Bradford, while Spurs beat Doncaster 3-0.

Liverpool will face Crystal Palace after the draw was made on Wednesday night.

Tottenham won 3-0 at home against Doncaster Rovers on Wednesday evening, and Newcastle defeated Bradford 4-1.

Brighton crushed Barnsley 6-0 on Tuesday evening, while Eberechi Eze’s first goal for Arsenal helped the Gunners to a 2-0 away win at Port Vale.

Grimsby Town, who beat Manchester United in the previous round, face Brentford at home, and they are the sole representative of League Two left in the tournament. Grimsby beat Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 last Tuesday, while Brentford knocked out Aston Villa on penalties.

Championship newboys Wrexham will take on Cardiff City in an all-Welsh clash. Wrexham beat Reading at home in their third round match-up.

The remaining Welsh side in the tournament, Swansea City, will come up against Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola’s men enjoyed a 2-0 win at Huddersfield on Wednesday evening, while Swansea knocked out Ange Postecoglou’s Nottingham Forest last week.

Wolverhampton Wanderers will host Chelsea. Chelsea defeated Lincoln City 2-1, while Wolves knocked out David Moyes' Everton.

Wycombe's reward for a 2-0 win at Wigan Athletic is a home tie against Fulham, who defeated Cambridge United.
