Reiss-Alexander Russell-Denny scored his first England goal - and provided an assist - as the Under-19s came from 5-1 down to draw 5-5 with Germany in the UEFA European Championships on Tuesday afternoon.
The midfielder, who was making his first appearance of the tournament in the group stage game against the Germans, was in from the start for the Young Lions in Romania and he certainly made his mark.
After England's opponents had stormed into a 5-1 lead in Bucharest, an 11-minute second-half salvo from Will Antwi's side saw the Under-19s score four times to earn a point at Stadionul National de Rugby Arcul de Trium.
Reiss, who had never scored for the Under-19s, popped up on 55 minutes to fire home England's third with an accomplished finish from inside the box before he provided the assist for his nation's fourth.
The comeback was then completed with 27 minutes still remaining in the eastern European nation before both teams had a number of chances to go on and take all three points.
Reiss played 89 minutes before being substituted as he picked up his eighth cap at that level. Mikey Moore was not involved in the matchday squad.
The point keeps England second in the table after an opening 2-2 draw with Norway - a game in which Mikey grabbed a late equaliser from the penalty spot.
Next up for Reiss and Mikey is their final group stage clash as they take on leaders the Netherlands on Friday (20 June).
