A Sky Sports journalist has revealed what his sources have told him about Fabio Paratici’s proposed switch from Tottenham to Fiorentina.
The Tottenham sporting director is being linked with a move away from the North London club just two months following his appointment.
It emerged a few days ago that Fiorentina had approached Paratici about taking over as the club’s Head of Football.
Some reliable sources from Italy, including Fabrizio Romano, have revealed that La Viola are confident of sealing the deal for the Spurs director.
Tottenham have not been approached by Fiorentina regarding Fabio Paratici
Curiously, though, it appears that Tottenham have not heard anything from the Serie A club about the Italian, who is contracted to them for two years.
It was previously revealed by FirenzeViola that Paratici is yet to inform Spurs of any approach from Fiorentina, with the Lilywhites only discovering the information through the media reports.
Now, Sky Sports’ Michael Bridge has now revealed that the Italian club are still yet to make any contact with the Premier League side.

Bridge wrote on X: “As it stands, I understand Tottenham Hotspur have still yet to receive any approach from Fiorentina for the services of Sporting Director Fabio Paratici.”
It appears that the Serie A club are first trying to reach an agreement with Paratici before contacting Spurs.
The fact that the Tottenham director has not immediately rejected their approach and is still speaking to the club may be a concerning sign for the Lilywhites.
It may suggest that Paratici is not entirely happy with the role he has been handed at Spurs, where he is the joint sporting director alongside Johan Lange, and may want more autonomy.
