Tottenham have stepped up their interest in a summer move for Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo, Sky Sports has revealed.
The Europa League winners have reportedly identified the Ghanaian winger as a potential attacking reinforcement for Thomas Frank, who is now set to be appointed as the new manager.
Semenyo has no shortage of Premier League admirers following his impressive campaign at the Vitality Stadium, with Manchester United also keen.
The Red Devils are believed to have earmarked Semenyo as an alternative to Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo, who is now the subject of club-to-club talks over a summer move to Old Trafford.
Tottenham Keen on Antoine Semenyo
Step up interest in the 25-year-old forward
Semenyo, who joined Bournemouth from Bristol City in 2023, has enjoyed a career-best Premier League campaign with the Cherries, scoring 11 goals and providing six assists in 37 appearances.
The 25-year-old forward finished the season on a particularly strong run of form, registering five goal contributions in his last seven appearances.
Bournemouth are said to value Semenyo at £70m this summer and are unlikely to lower their demands amid growing interest from top English clubs.
The Dorset coast club tied the 'deadly' winger to a new five-year contract last summer, which runs until June 2029.
GIVEMESPORT Key Statistic: Semenyo has scored three goals in 27 appearances for Ghana.
Tottenham are now on the verge of appointing Frank as their new manager, having reached an agreement over personal terms with the 51-year-old tactician.
The Dane is set to become Spurs’ fourth permanent manager in as many years and will succeed Ange Postecoglou, who ended the club’s 17-year wait for a trophy by winning the Europa League last month.
