The attacker hasn’t had much game time under Thomas Frank and could now be sidelined fully, this could force a deadline day move for a striker to match his output. The situation is currently up in the air but worst case reports indicate Solanke could need to undergo surgery and face a “considerable spell” on the sidelines.

Tottenham Could Make Late Move for 100+ G/A Striker
Who Is the Target
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Lilywhites are in talks with Paris Saint-Germain to pick up Randal Kolo Muani. They have serious interest and are trying to figure out the terms of such a deal. Things could hit a snag as the Parisiens reportedly want an obligation to sign the striker when any loan is completed which would leave the English side with more attackers than they need.

In a window where they’ve already splashed to get Xavi Simons and Mohamed Kudus, they’ll have to be a bit more measured in how they approach deadline day.
A Goalscorer by Nature
Kolo Muani would be a strong signing for Tottenham, he’s had an impressive career to date which has seen him nab 132 goal contributions across multiple clubs. He is coming off a fruitful spell in Serie A where he netted 10 times in just 22 appearances. That kind of clinicality is his normal as he’s also had a prolific spell in Germany where he scored 26 goals and contributed 17 assists in 50 appearances.

One thing is for sure, if Solanke is facing any significant time on the sidelines then they could do worse for a replacement than the PSG man.
