Son Heung-min continues to be the face of Tottenham despite his uncertain future in North London.
Son has spent almost a decade at Tottenham, where his performances and success have propelled him to become one of the biggest names in the Premier League.
The 32-year-old was named Spurs captain in 2023, and despite guiding the Lilywhites to their first European trophy in 41 years last season, he has been linked with a move away.
Son’s performances have gradually declined over the last two years, and the South Korean could be on the move this summer after Tottenham’s pre-season tour.
Nevertheless, Spurs are aware of his iconic status and are still capitalising on his global appeal.

Tottenham launch away kit for 2025/26 season
Thomas Frank is set to speak to Son about his future before the club, the player, and the manager all reach a decision.
The Spurs skipper has one year left on his contract and could still fetch a handsome fee if he were sold during this transfer window, both due to his quality and his commercial value.
Despite the final verdict not yet being delivered, Son was still front and centre as Tottenham launched their new away kit (26 June).
The forward was pictured wearing the stylish black strip, which has garnered plenty of praise from the Spurs faithful, and appeared in every subsequent Tottenham post promoting the new kit.
This may be purely a marketing strategy, given both Son’s popularity and Daniel Levy’s desire to maximise profits while the South Korea captain remains in N17.
However, it could also point to the club’s intentions to keep the icon in North London beyond this summer.
Delay over tour obligations could help Tottenham
Son is contractually obligated to feature for Tottenham against Newcastle in a pre-season friendly in South Korea (3 August).
While the forward may rue the contractual limitations he faces in finding a new club until after the clash with the Magpies, it does give Tottenham a bit of time to plan accordingly.
Frank is intent on landing at least one big-money forward, as Tottenham are linked with the likes of Bryan Mbeumo, Antoine Semenyo, and Mohammed Kudus.
However, the Lilywhites’ history in recent transfer windows shows that these deals may all fall through, while focus could also shift to a marquee signing in a different position, such as Eberechi Eze.
The delay in being able to sell Son means Spurs have the time to assess where their squad is further down the line before making a final decision.
