Tottenham Hotspur is the Club for animal-lovers and we use our platform to raise awareness of animal welfare and the importance of preserving nature.

For the 2025/26 season we are continuing to feature a ‘Dog of the Match’ at every home game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Members of Tottenham Hotspaw – our first-ever Official Supporters’ Club for dog lovers – have been posting pictures of their beloved pets on the group’s Facebook page for a chance for them to be featured on the stadium big screens ahead of kick-off and in the matchday programme.

This weekend’s ‘Dog of the Match’ is Wallace, a 12-year-old lemon and white beagle who lives with parents Philip and Cariosa, as well as siblings Ryan and Emma. When he isn’t sleeping, Wallace loves playing ball in his garden with Ryan and Emma. He is also an avid watcher of Spurs on TV, at least when the family aren’t cheering the team on from the stands!

Alongside our ‘Dog of the Match’, we also profile rescue dogs currently up for adoption with All Dogs Matter – the fantastic charity partner of Tottenham Hotspaw – giving fans the chance to provide a forever home so badly needed.

Today, we are featuring Paulie – an affectionate little Dachshund who loves his walks. Paulie came to the charity due to a change in his owners’ circumstances and is looking for a new home with owners that have had dogs before, and who are around for a large portion of the day.

Until Sunday 7 September, Tottenham Hotspur is running its first global charity dog-walking challenge, powered by global walking app Walk15 and supported by Frontier Pets, in aid of All Dogs Matter. Find out more about ‘Steps with Pets’ and how to join here.
