STAR FOOTBALL PREVIEW Sun: Tottenham v Nottm Forest

It is a huge relegation six-pointer in the Premier League this weekend as Tottenham Hotspur take on Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon, writes JOE CITRONE.

It looked really bleak for Igor Tudor and Spurs after they were brushed by Atletico Madrid in the Champions League a couple of weeks ago, which saw goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky substituted after 17 minutes, but the last two results have been far more positive.

A late equaliser from Richarlison earned Spurs a point at Anfield against Liverpool, before they claimed a second-leg victory over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League – though it wasn’t enough to overturn the 5-2 loss from the first leg.

Tudor will be hoping this marks the start of some real momentum, as Spurs look to put that dreadful beginning to his temporary spell in charge firmly behind them.

Nottingham Forest will also be hoping they can round off a positive week in Europe with a crucial win in the Premier League, after they eliminated Midtjylland from the Europa League on penalties.

A victory would see Forest leapfrog their Sunday opponents in the league, and potentially plunge Spurs into the bottom-three by the end of the weekend, which is why this would be the ideal moment for Vitor Pereira to pick up his first league victory in charge of the Tricky Trees.

However, given the growing positivity at Spurs, it feels this is Tudor’s moment to get his first Premier League win, and I am backing that at 29/20 with starsports.bet.
