A reputable German outlet has made a confident claim regarding Tottenham’s latest stance on the future of Luka Vuskovic, but it may sound silly to Spurs fans.

Over recent months, several reports have suggested that Luka Vuskovic is attracting interest from elite clubs after winning several admirers with his displays on loan at Hamburg.

According to some sources, Spurs are worried that the centre-back would leave this summer without making a single appearance for the club, as the teenager’s list of admirers continues to grow.

It has previously been suggested that Tottenham value Vuskovic at around £61m, but it has now been claimed that the defender could move for a considerably lower fee.

Tottenham ready to sell Luka Vuskovic for a nominal fee

According to Sport BILD (as relayed by Sport Witness), Spurs have now officially put up Vuskovic for sale ahead of the summer transfer window.

The outlet claims that Tottenham ‘want to sell’ the 19-year-old on the back of his breakthrough season at HSV.

It is asserted that an offer of €40m (£35m) would be enough to prise the Croat away from the North London club this summer.

However, it is revealed that even though RB Leipzig are interested in Vuskovic, Tottenham Hotspur’s asking price is thought to be too high for the Bundesliga club, who are not willing to spend over €25m (£21.7m) on the youngster.

Let’s be honest, Tottenham are likely to laugh any offers around £22m or £35m out of the room this summer, with other reports putting their valuation at double that.

Vuskvoic has made his stance on his future clear

The likes of Barcelona and Liverpool have also been credited with interest in Vuskovic, while some sources have suggested that Bayern Munich are also plotting a move for the Spurs teenager.

However, amid all the speculation, the centre-back made a clear statement about his future a few days ago.
