Tottenham Hotspur have been given encouragement from Eberechi Eze about a potential move from Crystal Palace this summer, according to The Mirror.

The Lilywhites are set for a busy summer transfer window under new manager Thomas Frank after qualifying for the Champions League by winning the Europa League, with the Dane looking to shape the squad in his own image after replacing Ange Postecoglou.

Now the north London side are looking at bolstering their attack, and England international Eze has emerged as someone they have a strong interest in.

Forward has a £60m+ release clause

After a sensational season for the Eagles in 2024/25, Eze capped off the campaign by scoring the winning goal in the FA Cup final to help Palace into the Europa League.

But Tottenham have had a long-standing interest in the former QPR man, who has a release clause in his contract this summer worth around £60m, and they are now seriously considering triggering that option.

The Mirror report that they have been given encouragement behind the scenes from Eze, who has been described as a "superstar", and he would reportedly be open to making the move across London this summer.

GMS sources revealed recently that Frank had already green-lit a move for Eze to add to his attacking options, with Spurs desperate to add to their squad in the final third.

Heung-Min Son's future is in doubt amid strong interest from Saudi Arabia, with the club open to allowing him to move on later in the window a year before his contract expires, while Richarlison is also likely to be allowed to leave.

The club have already made Mathys Tel's loan move from Bayern Munich permanent, while Manor Solomon is someone that Frank is a fan of and wants to take a closer look at during pre-season. Spurs were also interested in Bryan Mbeumo, with reports suggesting they had made a £70m offer, but the Cameroon international wants to join Man Utd.
