TOTTENHAM’S stunning stadium is being lined up to host a future Super Bowl — in what would be a historic first outside of North America.

The £1billion north London ground welcomed its 11th NFL regular season game on Sunday as the Minnesota Vikings beat the Cleveland Browns.

And it’s set to hit a dozen games next weekend when the Denver Broncos take on the New York Jets in Week Six.

Since opening in 2019, Spurs’ stadium has remained the only purpose-built NFL venue outside the US — and it's officially the NFL's home in the UK.

Now, leading voices in the sport say it’s only a matter of time before the biggest game in American football lands on British soil.

Sky Sports NFL’s Ndamukong Suh, a Super Bowl champion himself, said: “There’s no doubt in my mind — it’s on the table. I’d bet it happens in the next five years.”

NFL owners are believed to be seriously considering taking the Super Bowl global with Dallas Cowboys supremo Jerry Jones one of the biggest supporters of the idea.

It comes as the NFL ramps up its international expansion, with London hosting three games this season — and seven to be played overseas in total.

New venues include Dublin, Madrid, Berlin, and a return to Brazil, while the league plans to land in Australia with a game in Melbourne next year.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell wants EVERY team to play at least one international game per season, targeting up to 16 overseas games annually.

Fellow Sky Sports pundit Jason Bell added: “The Super Bowl is about experience — imagine it in London.

"It’s never been done before. That’s exactly why it’ll happen.”
