Thomas Frank has highlighted the importance of making Tottenham Hotspur Stadium a ‘fortress’ as he embarks on a new adventure with the Club.
Appointed as our new Head Coach on a contract that runs until 2028, the Dane has had a busy few days at Hotspur Way, getting familiar with his new surroundings ahead of pre-season, while he also learnt our new fixtures for 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
Released earlier this week, we host newly-promoted Burnley in our opening game of the new season, and it will be the first time Thomas will walk out as our Head Coach in N17.
While we remain some time away from getting the season started, Thomas emphasised the importance of creating a connection with our Lilywhite fanbase and navigating the journey together in order to make lasting memories for our supporters.
"First and foremost, I think it’s a fantastic fan base," he told us.
"Fans are the most important ones, it’s the team, the staff, me - all of us - how can we make sure we create enough magic moments with the fans, make moments they remember and that they can get excited about.
"We go on a journey together and on a journey, there’ll be ups and downs. It's how we get through those ups and downs together but, of course, the connection from the team to the fans, from me to the fans - it’s going to be crucial.”

Having spent nearly seven seasons in charge at Brentford, guiding them to the Premier League for the first time in 2021, Thomas came to N17 on numerous occasions as an away side but, come August, he will be standing in the home dugout and underlined the importance of making our home ground a very challenging place to visit.
"A very important thing is to make our home - Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - like a fortress," Thomas added.
"That can only be (if) the fans and us, the team, (do it) together. That’s an ongoing relationship, a situation we need to build. I want our home to be very, very difficult to come to, and we can only do together."
