Ange Postecoglou ended his tenure at Tottenham Hotspur with a European trophy. While this has to be looked at as a massive success story considering Spurs' long drought of silverware, Postecoglou's time at the club had run its course because of a lengthy spree of poor results in domestic competitions. With a coaching vacancy in the summer, Spurs brought in former Brentford coach Thomas Frank to take over and hopefully get the club back into form on home soil. But this has not happened at all and Spurs are just as poor this season as they were last season...

As we're halfway through January and the results are only getting worse if anything, with a miserable loss to West Ham most recently not helping, there are lots of conversations and speculation about the Danish coach's future at Spurs, with top executives at the club coming to the training facility on January 18 to discuss Frank's role at the club. No decision was made over the weekend, with new reports from Sky Sports claiming that Frank will be in charge of the London-based team on January 20 when Borussia Dortmund travel to Spurs Stadium for a Champions League fixture.

The report adds that there is no long-term plan in place for the coaching duties at Spurs, but following loud boos from fans after Saturday's game, there are expectations that a loss to Dortmund tomorrow could mark the end of Frank's time at Spurs.
