Former Tottenham scout Bryan Scout believes that Thomas Frank should be uncompromising in the way he deals with one Spurs player for the next few months.

It appears a happy camp at Tottenham Hotspur at the moment, and that is perhaps down to the fact that minutes have been shared around so far, with Frank happy to rotate his squad since the start of the season.

However, one player who has not got any minutes is Yves Bissouma, who is currently out of action with an injury.

Bissouma’s proposed move to Galatasaray and Fenerbahce fell through due to his fitness issues late in the transfer window, but Frank has been told he has no reason to integrate the midfielder back into the squad.

Thomas Frank told to send Yves Bissouma to the Tottenham U21s

Frank left Bissouma out of the Super Cup clash against PSG due to disciplinary issues, with the Dane admitting that the 28-year-old had been late one too many times.

Bryan King urged the Danish coach not to give the midfielder any leeway and to ask him to train with the Under-21s until he leaves the club in January.

The former Spurs scout told Tottenham News about Bissouma: “That’s the kind of disruptive influence that you don’t want at your football club. If one person is late for everything, then other people could start to fall into that trap. I think Spurs have got enough midfielders to send him to train with the U21s.

“Then, when January comes along, he’ll be a lot keener to get away. If you do that, he’d end up being happy to accept a move anywhere. If I was Frank, I’d make it as uncomfortable for him as he wants to make it uncomfortable for me. I think Frank will be looking to get him out of the club as quickly as possible.”

Frank has opened the door for Bissouma to feature for Spurs

Bissouma is expected to leave N17 during the January window, given that his current deal runs out next summer.

However, Thomas Frank has opened the door for Bissouma to force himself into the Spurs team, insisting that the midfielder will get opportunities if he impresses in training.

The Dane revealed that the former Brighton man is on the road to recovery from his injury and has now started training outdoors.
