A new report has shed light on what Tottenham manager Thomas Frank thinks about Conor Gallagher as the Atletico Madrid man considers his future at the Spanish capital.
Tottenham’s interest in the former Chelsea man is certainly not new. In fact, according to some sources, it was Gallagher’s wage demands that ultimately stopped Spurs from signing him last summer.
Some outlets have backed the Lilywhites to go back in for the midfielder this summer, and it was even reported last month that Tottenham may consider a Gallagher-Romero swap deal.
However, so far, that has proven to be little more than paper talk, and it now appears as if Romero may be set to stay at Spurs.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank is a fan of Conor Gallagher
TBR Football have now become the latest outlet to confirm that Tottenham Hotspur admire Gallagher, whose future at Atletico is thought to be in doubt at the moment.
The report alleges that Frank is also a fan of the 25-year-old, who fits the profile of number six that the Danish coach wants to bring to Hotspur Way.
However, Tottenham are not the only eyes monitoring Gallagher’s situation, with Newcastle also said to be fans of the midfielder.

The Magpies are actively considering the possibility of bringing the Chelsea academy graduate back to the Premier League, just a year after he swapped London for Madrid.
What is Gallagher’s stance on his future?
TBR Football say that the energetic midfielder is happy at the Metropolitano Stadium and has enjoyed working under Diego Simeone.
He feels that he made the right choice to move to Atletico, but that does not mean that he is not considering a departure.
