Werner’s one-and-a-half-year loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur may not have gone as well as the German might have wanted, but he is delighted to have a trophy to show for his time at the club.

The 29-year-old will now forever be remembered for being part of the side that broke the club’s trophy jinx, and he has now reminded everyone of what he said when he first signed for the club back in January of 2024.
