Tottenham Hotspur have accelerated a big-money move to sign Monaco striker Folarin Balogun in the 'last few hours', as Spurs step up their pursuit of a new striker.
Tottenham may have signed half-a-dozen new players for Roberto De Zerbi already this summer, but now it appears as though there could be up to three more arrivals incoming for their attack as they look to soar up the Premier League standings this season.
Spurs are already working on deals to land Manchester City winger Savinho and Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, according to GMS sources, but as well as the wing they are said to be working on a deal to bring a new centre-forward to north London too.

Balogun Would be a Richarlison Upgrade

De Zerbi is said to be a big admirer of Dominic Solanke, which would point to his Brazilian teammate being the more likely player to exit in the next weeks.

Richarlison has scored 32 goals in 133 appearances for Tottenham, but while there can be no questioning of his commitment when he is on the pitch, the overriding feeling is that he has been a disappointment overall following his £60m switch from the Toffees in 2022.
