He has already been handed an opportunity to showcase his qualities with the Hearts senior team this season. The Scottish outfit has done quite well this season and is the favourite to win the league title.
It seems that Wilson will now leave them before they can lift the coveted trophy.
Arsenal miss out on Wilson
The opportunity to move to a Premier League club will be quite exciting for the youngster. It would be a huge step up in his career, and he will look to prove himself at the highest level. Meanwhile, Arsenal will be thoroughly disappointed to have missed out on the player, especially to a direct rival. They were looking to offer a trial to the young attacker, whereas Tottenham were prepared to get the deal done now.
It will be interesting to see if Wilson can establish himself as a first-team player for Tottenham in the near future. They have done well to groom young players in the past, and they could play a key role in his development.
