Tottenham have made no secret of their desire to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham this summer.

As it stands, Mathys Tel remains the only summer addition at Tottenham, though there is a high level of expectation that that will change over the next week or so.

Quite frankly, it has to if Spurs are to make anything out of the next campaign, with the Champions League one of several competitions to attend to.

After finishing 17th in the Premier League, the need for reinforcements is evident, and Kudus is one of those to have been linked with a move to Tottenham.

Kudus pushing for West Ham exit this summer

Tottenham have several areas of the squad that will need attention, though Thomas Frank will be keen on adding quality wherever and whenever possible.

MORE SPURS STORIES

Amid links to Kudus, bolstering his attacking lineup seems to be high up on the list of priorities, and the Ghanaian international has since agreed to sign with a new sports agency, ROOF [The Sun], which can only be seen as an attempt to push through a summer move.

West Ham have been holding out for around £70million to sanction his exit, though if a bid around that region fails to arrive, they could be forced to accept less, especially if the player wants the move.

Kudus has been linked with Saudi clubs just as heavily as he has Spurs, though it may only be a matter of time until his exit is announced away from West Ham.

Tottenham must deal well this summer

Recruitment is going to play a deciding role in the success that Spurs can find under Frank this season, and it has been rather slow so far.

Albeit, the same can be said for most Premier League clubs, who will be wary of the PSR turnover due at the end of June.

However, it will be crucial that Frank is backed this summer, with several more additions certainly needed.
